I'm Kristin, and I'm a professional qualified photographer living in the central belt of Scotland. I created Struve Photography as a means of promoting my wedding and family portraiture work.

My aim with my photographs is to create something a little unique and special for each client which fits their personality. As a qualified photographer, I'm trained in creating vibrant and dynamic images, and understand how to use different photographic techniques to achieve what my clients are after. I can adapt methods to create whatever mood you're after with your photographs, mixing contemporary and traditional methods to create chic, stylish, and classic keepsakes.

This blog has been created to allow me to write about what I care about - photography. As a photographer I keep notebooks full of new ideas, thoughts, cut-outs, and memos as journals for inspiration. To me, those notebooks are my sources of research, to ensure I keep up to date with new techniques, am aware of growing trends in the world of photography, and ensure that my skills and approach is fresh and considered.

This blog is something of a digital journal. It's about showing off things that inspire me, showing things I'm working on which inspire me.
